Pecan pie brownies you can make in your RV
Katie's Pecan Pie Brownies Recipe
Katie made Pecan Pie Brownies for a potluck. As you may already know, i’m a sucker for potluck meals. We always plan several potlucks during meetups, and when an impromptu potluck happens, I’m all for it.
I’m also all for pretty much anything with chocolate or brown sugar in it. And when those two are included in one dessert recipe, it’s hard to stick to just my share.
We hope you enjoy this recipe.
Two yummy desserts in one
Pecan pie brownies are an amazing fusion of two delicious desserts. They combine the rich, chocolatey indulgence of brownies with the nutty, caramel sweetness of pecan pie.
I am like Katie, in that I prefer the cake-like texture of brownies. I think the texture pairs well with the dense, gooey pecan layer.
However, if you like your brownies denser, by all means make what you want. I won’t turn them down!
When I was younger, I didn’t know I liked pecan pie. I didn’t even know if I liked pecans. Little did I know what I was missing. Pecans in a rich, gooey base is just pure decadence in every bite. Layer that atop a brownie and you cannot go wrong!
Baking in your RV oven
For those of you who struggle with your RV oven, here are some tips for making the RV oven your friend.
Nuts to You
We have found that pecans are a common crop in many parts of the United States. Does your state boast pecan-growing?
