RV storage hack - the GripStic

See this content in the original post

If you’re looking for less food waste when you go RVing one of the things you might consider are the GripStic. Essentially these are inexpensive bag clips that store small but make for air- and water-tight closures on plastic bags.

Let’s say you bought some frozen veggies, for example. With the GripStic you can use a portion of the veggies and then close the bag back up and save the remainder for later. If you’re careful, you can even get most of the air out of the bag.

The GripStics take a bit of practice to use but, once you’re good at it, it’s a simple thing to close up just about any plastic food bag. We’ve used ours in the pantry as well as in the refrigerator and the freezer.

The GripStics are all plastic so you could use them in the microwave if you choose to.

They also make for an air- and water-tight seal in most cases so freezer burn stays out and liquids stay in.

They’re a simple, inexpensive and easy-to-store way of keeping food fresh in your RV.
