Medical Insurance for RVers - 2022 updates

RVers face particular challenges when it comes to medical insurance overage and we speak with a full-time RVer whose company specializes in medical insurance for RVers. Did you know your coverage might force you to return to the place where you call home for coverage?

Then we change lanes and talk about pellet grills and barbecue. Our guest is also a Kansas City barbecue judge so we’ve got some great grilling tips and tricks.

Our guest was Micke Neighbours who came to us through RV Insurance Benefits.

So great to be able to see our friends from RVMiles as well as The Route of it All. Alicia makes a mean gumbo! We also got to spend time with some of our listeners and it was a pleasure and a treat.

You can find Tony’s RV Reviews here and, very specifically, the RV of the week is a preview of the forthcoming Brinkley Z 3100 fifth wheel.

Mike and Tony spoke about smokers and smoker recipes. You can find Tony’s review of the RecTeq 340 pellet grill here.

Some of you have already asked about the drunken chicken legs pellet smoker recipe and we share it here.

Update: Our 2022 Rockwood Mini Lite 2205s

Well, the unfortunate result of our being rear-ended is that our 2022 Rockwood Mini Lite 2205s was declared a total loss by the insurance company. While we were not injured in the collision, the trailer was declared a total loss.

This surprised the heck out of us because it didn’t seem that bad. But the adjuster who showed up saw enough frame damage that he didn’t feel it would be worth while to attempt to repair it. So, it’s off to wherever these trailers go.

The good news is, we’ve already placed an order with Rockwood for a 2023 Mini Lite 2205s with the Power Package.
