Mentioned on this episode
We welcomed our new sponsor, ABC Upfitters, aboard this week and are grateful to have them. They absolutely do beautiful installations of solar and power systems in RVs of all sorts. We also did a podcast episode and video episode with them which you can see here.
Below are some images of recent installs the company has done - they’re truly beautiful.
Podcasts with our author friends
Our friend Nick Russell has also written a number of series. As a former full-time RVer Nick knows his travels and has also written several guidebooks. We interviewed Nick Russell as well for the StressLess Camping RV podcast - you can hear that here.
Nick has several guide books on Arizona
The John Lee Quarrels is an 11-book series surrounding a Sumner County Sheriff’s deputy and the things he runs into in the small Florida town including some pretty entertaining members of the local sheriff and more. These are quite captivating books.
Nick lived near the setting he has for his Big Lake series, a 21-book series. These are a little less gritty than the John Lee Quarrels series, but are equally captivating. There are some fun characters in this series whom the sheriff of Big Lake has to deal with.
Our friends Heath and Alyssa Padgett - you can find their books here.
Karen Musser Nortman has several series of books. Karen is an RVer herself whom we’ve interviewed on the StressLess Camping RV podcast. Karen has several book series:
The Time Travel Trailer - a 1937 camper that turns out to be a time machine. The antics the subjects get into can alter their own future - and are very entertaining.
We absolutely love the Frannie Shoemaker Campground Mysteries. This ten book series involves Frannie Shoemaker who travels with her husband and others. Somehow when Frannie’s around, things go haywire and she and her husband have to solve the mystery.
The Mystery Sisters is a four-book series where sister travel around in their vintage Studebaker. Of course trouble ensues wherever they go and they have to solve the mystery. Another good series!
We have a number of authors whom we’ve spoken to. Here are a few whose works you might find enjoyable:
