Bring your dog to Camp and Val will teach you how to: 

  • Meet & Greet other dogs and people at Camp

  • Canine Courtesy while camping and hiking

  • Safe wildland hiking

  • Wildlife safety and habitat considerations

  • A mini basic manners clinic: name game, recall, walk nicely on a leash

  • Tips and Tools: harnesses, hands free walking systems, poop bags, water dispensers for dogs, backpacks for dogs and more

Friday, May 31, check in to your campsite

Saturday, June 1

7:30-8:30 Coffee on the Creek 

8:30-10:00 am Program 

10:00 caravan to trail head for a guided three mile round trip hike, difficulty: moderate

6:00 potluck at camp

Sunday, June 2, check out by noon with wonderful memories

Open to registered Campers only. Limited to 10 Owner/Dog pairs Special event fee: $40

This event is for social, non-aggressive dogs.

Spatial awareness dogs are ok.

Proof of current vaccines required.

Your dog will be on leash at all times.

Flat collar or harness only, no choke chains or prong collars.

A questionnaire and waiver will be sent to all registered campers and should be returned prior to arrival.
