The Pomona Fairplex is once again the venue for California's largest RV Show! See the newest campers and RVs from all of the RV Industries top manufacturers at the show you have been coming to for generations!
Our information leads us to believe that this show will not be happening. There is no response from the show’s organizers and this is not a show produced by the RV Industry Association.
New kind of RV Show
Instead of grouping the RVs by brand, the show anticipates grouping the RVs by type. If you’re looking for a toy hauler, they will be in one spot. If you’re looking for a Class B RV, they will be together. This should make cross-shopping much easier.
“Not only is it a continuation of the yearly event, but it is also an opportunity to make a fresh start of the show based on input from customers, dealers and manufacturers,” show director Tom Gaither said. “This is going to be a show/sale spanning five days that will be marketed to the consumer focusing on their shopping experience.”
The event is billed as the 68th annual RV Show. Gaither said the show will segment major products, with motorized RVs in the same block, toy haulers in the same block, and so on.
“This new format will allow the buying public to see all their targeted products in one area,” Gaither said. “The biggest frustration of customers at the major industry shows is searching out the campers they want to see. This should create a better buying experience for the customers and a level playing field for all manufacturers. There won’t be a good or bad location because all like products will be together.”
RVIA officially canceled the California RV show in September 2020 during the pandemic. RVIA’s Board of Directors canceled the 2020 show in June that year, then created a task force to evaluate the long-term future of the 10-day event.
The task force considered a shorter show, moving the date to late October and adding other exhibitors before deciding the show did “not provide the necessary value for individual members.”
