Join Peggy and Tony for a week - or so - in the desert. We’ll have friends, fun, food, fire, and field trips, all to be determined and all optional of course! We just want to hang out with our friends.
This event will be in the BLM portion of the Quartzsite area. They don’t take reservations, naturally, so our exact location will be determined by the first person to find a suitable site for all of us. Keep checking with us - we will be sharing our What 3 Words location as soon as we know it!
The small town of Quartzsite, Arizona swells from a tiny population of a few thousand to over a quarter million people as RVers come from all over to enjoy warm January weather and RV fun. There is a tremendous amount of boondock camping in the desert and quite a few RV parks in the area.

Every January something happens that is hard to believe, unless you have seen it! According to the Arizona Highway Department, as many as 750,000 to 1,000,000 people, mostly in RVs, converge on this sleepy little desert town, located just 20 miles east of the California border on Interstate 10, for the rock, gem and mineral shows, plus numerous flea markets and the Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show. This phenomenon started over 40 years ago and is now billed as “The Largest Gathering Of RVers in the World”...
Join us in 2025!
After the Quartzsite Sports, Vacation, and RV Show, we will be relocating into a BLM area outside the town and having a meetup of our own.
Join us for fun, campfires, potluck dinners, maybe a field trip or two, and who knows what else we’ll get up to!
