How do I write a review on Apple Podcasts?

We’ve had a bunch of people ask for help finding the review option in the Apple podcast app. Here is where they hide it:

1. If you are looking at one of the episodes, use the three dots at the bottom right. Find the menu item “go to show.”

2. On the show page, scroll down to the bottom of the list of episodes. (Almost bottom of the page).

3. There is the rating chart, usually one review, then an unassuming line of text “write a review”.

4. Click on those words and start writing (and click 5 stars LOL)

What is a podcast?

A podcast is like an old-time radio show with information and content that you can listen to at your leisure. Many people download podcasts to their phones and listen to them on the road but you can also listen right from the website. Best of all, podcasts are free!

Podcasts started with Apple allowing people to use iTunes to download podcasts to their iPod - hence the name. Today there are so many more options and so many more types of podcasts. In fact, you can create a podcast yourself!

On iTunes/Apple Podcasts - Computer

If you have a computer, you can get the StressLess Camping Podcast for free. It’s easy! Just go to iTunes, select Podcasts and then search for StressLess Camping. When you find the icon, just “Get” the podcast and subscribe. That’s it!!

If you don’t already, you’ll have to set-up a free iTunes account but your information is secure and Apple will not charge you.

On iTunes/Apple Podcasts - iPhone

If you have an iPhone you’re in luck - there should already be a Podcasts icon. Tap on that.
